Award-winning, international pet portrait photographer Kristie Lee is offering a unique experience for photographers who love photographing pets and people. Kristie and her team will be hands-on for 2 days showing you how to create fashion inspired portraits with pets. You will photograph models and trained animals, with a team of hair and make up artists as well. Kristie will show you how she styles her shoots, how she poses pets with people, plus how she finishes her images in Photoshop, I guarantee you will leave with not only newly acquired skills and techniques, but also with creative tools that will take your portraits to the next level and expand your portfolio.
Day 1: We will begin in the morning, with an introduction and review lighting, backgrounds, posing and creative direction in a keynote presentation. Kristie will also share her creative process and styling. After breaking for lunch, we will regroup and everyone will have the opportunity to shoot in the studio with our models and trained animals. We will be focusing on creating stylized portraits of people with dogs, cats and doves, with a fashion flair.
Day 2: We will start with an overview of the day before and then get straight into part two of the practical side of photographing our models on location. The second portion of the day will be a retouching / Photoshop segment where we will go through the post-producing process that Kristie uses to retouch her images, giving them a fine art fashion finish.
At the end of the second day you will also have the option of attending a wrap-up dinner with Kristie and the team to extend the conversation of the workshop and get to know each other over dinner & drinks! We encourage group networking during the workshop and many students leave to connect in the business world.
